The challenges faced by Weerts Group: communication and transparency

The Weerts Group is an international logistics provider that handles every step in the logistics chain for its customers with its own fleet of vehicles and extensive warehouses. The challenge here is to deliver products to the right place at the right time and in the right quality. In order to meet the increasing demands of the supply chain and successfully master its own ambitious expansion goals, the company needs to be transparent and accessible.

  • New business partners for growth in logistics
  • Improved communication with partner companies and clients

Weerts Group boosts logistics success with quick communication and price quotes thanks to the TIMOCOM Marketplace

The Weerts Group has already had several years of positive experience with the TIMOCOM Marketplace. One function that is particularly popular is the option to propose prices directly. This facilitates the sale of loads enormously and speeds up communication considerably. The Weerts Group had ambitious plans for 2023, including purchasing 20 new lorries and refrigerated trucks to increase its presence on the transport market. In addition, the company expanded its cold storage capacities and created new storage space in Charleroi for foodstuffs such as chocolate, milk and fruit.

“Without TIMOCOM, we would probably have been limited to working with our existing partners for the time being – and would not have been able to expand,” says Fabrice Maréchal, Key Account Manager at Weerts.
