Deals

What are Deals?

You can now post your freight directly on the TIMOCOM freight exchange! Our Deals make freight allocation easier and more efficient. All it takes is one click to assign, one click to accept – and after delivery, both partners can rate each other directly.

Whether you are a customer or a service provider, Deals help you keep track of your transport jobs, build trust and secure the best partners in the long term.

How is a Deal different to a transport order?

  • The Deal is the digital confirmation of the freight assignment – like an initial handshake.

  • The transport order is the official, legally binding document that sets out all the details of the transport.

Frequently asked questions

A Deal is a precursor to a transport order – a kind of agreement before making things official. The transport order remains the legally binding document.

The data you provide will be treated confidentially and used exclusively for the Deal. Your data is protected and stored securely.

No, your business relationships and Deals remain confidential and are only visible to you and the respective partners.

Contact your customer to find out why the Deal was not created through the freight exchange. There may be a technical problem or the customer may have forgotten to allocate the freight.

No, you are not obliged to assign your freight via the TIMOCOM freight exchange. However, we strongly recommend that you do this in order to increase the security of your transport orders and to be able to continue to access your freight data.

Deals offer you a number of advantages. You can submit and receive ratings for every Deal, regardless of whether you have a TIMOCOM transport order. By working with verified TIMOCOM customers, you can reduce potential risks and misunderstandings. And the best part: you’ll be able to see a history of your transports and ratings, allowing you to make well-founded and future-proof decisions in the long term!

You will receive a notification by e-mail and a message via the bell icon in the Marketplace. You can see all the orders you have received in your Deals overview. Click on the freight offer and confirm by clicking the ‘Accept freight’ button.

Accepting the freight shows that you are prepared to fulfil the order. The legally binding transport order will be sent to you by your business partner to confirm separately.

Yes, you can cancel the Deal both as a service provider and as a transport customer. However, we recommend that you only do this in exceptional cases, as last-minute cancellations can have a negative impact on your reputation and may result in legal consequences.

The business partner will receive a notification by e-mail and via the Marketplace. Repeatedly cancelling can have a negative impact on your ratings and future orders. In the event of last-minute cancellations, it is important to inform the customer as quickly as possible.

In this case, you should contact the service provider and ask them to cancel the order through the Marketplace. Otherwise, the order will remain incorrectly stored in Deals. Changes should be made directly in the Marketplace.

Please post the freight again via the freight exchange. We are working on a solution to simplify this process in the future.
